AngQi is my absolute favorite pregnancy pillow. I searched high and low and this is the only one with such full body support. The wavy design in the middle actually cradles your body (let’s be honest, nobody has a pin shape body - especially us pregnant ladies!). It stays firm, and the U-shape is helpful when I flip over during the night (it's nice not having to take the pillow with me every time). I've slept so much better now that I've started using this. I'm in my second trimester, as well, and already I've had a lot of trouble sleeping. The support it gives for my back, tummy, knees, and hips helps me immediately relax and fall asleep. Highly recommend to any ladies out there experiencing pregnancy-related sleeplessness!

I used to search the entire house for pillows that I could pile up around myself to adequately support my head, preggo belly, AND all the joints at night. It was a mess trying to get situated with that many pillows. With AngQi pregnancy pillow, I just drop it on the bed and hop in. And it does a way better job keeping me comfy through the night in my various positions (without constantly having to adjust the pillow).

@Corynn Hartell, I'm not pregnant, but I have chronic pain that messes with my sleep. I, too, am always piling several pillows on the bed trying to get just the right support. It's not working so well. Would you say this pregnancy pillow could be helpful to non-pregnant people, as well?

@Angelita Clemens, yes definitely—get one! I will definitely keep using mine after I have my baby to help with my back pain. My husband actually loves to borrow mine when he naps. And he tries to steal it from me at night, too. He thinks it's super comfy!

My wife is extremely happy with her AngQi pillow—it's ultra comfortable (I know—I've tested it myself!). She doesn't just use it for sleeping, but also sitting up in bed to read or watch TV. The cover it comes with is soft, and it's nice that it can be easily removed and washed. A little reminder - if you want it more or less firm, you can always add or subtract some stuffing to get it to the right level for you.

I really like my PharMeDoc C-shaped pregnancy pillow. It gives great support for my knees, hips, and back, and the shape makes me feel like I'm just wrapped up in a cocoon. I will say, it's not very conducive to flipping over ... in the night—I'd have to get up and flip the whole pillow over first. But that's actually okay for pregnancy, because it's recommended to try to sleep on the left side, anyway.Read more

I really loved the PharMeDoc during my pregnancy. My only complaint is that it's a little tricky to get the pillow back into it after washing, since it's such a unique shape. Aside from that, ... it did help me sleep without a lot of the joint pain I experienced before I purchased it. Read more

It seems to work well for people recovering from surgery, too. My daughter had shoulder surgery last year, and she doesn't like sleeping on her back, ... so this pillow allowed her to sleep on one side without a lot of pain through the night. It really helped her get through the post-op recovery period.Read more

I like my Queen Rose pregnancy pillow. It's like a U-shape, but with a tail that overlaps on the bottom a bit. It comes with a bamboo cover and a securing belt (which I don't see why I would need). I have some chronic ... pain that makes me toss and turn a lot at night trying to get comfy, but this helps me lay more still. Read more

@Shy Aquino, does this pillow make you hot at night? My wife wants a pregnancy pillow, but gets quite warm in the night.

@Gregg Barnes, it does get pretty warm. So for those who get too hot during the night, it might be best to look for a pillow that's more breathable.

I really needed a pregnancy pillow that didn't take over the entire bed. The Boppy side sleeper seemed like a perfect little compact support pillow for me but I was disappointed to find that after a few uses, it's not so supportive ... - the middle panel stretches out. Because of this, I've had to wash it about every 3-4 nights just to shrink it back to a size that supports me better.Read more

I wanted to love the Boppy pillow—especially at its convenient size! But, in the end, I regretted buying it, wishing I had bought something that could support my back, belly, AND knees at the same time ... (instead of having to choose one or the other). A lot of the bigger pregnancy pillows seem comfy even for non-pregnant people, but the Boppy seems pretty useless outside of pregnancy. Read more

Hiccapop has a nifty little wedge pillow you can just slide under your belly, back, or in between your knees for support. It doesn't do it all at once and you do have to carry it with you if you roll over, but sometimes it's nice to have an option that's small and rolls into a little carrying case for travel. ... Mine has been useful for me outside of pregnancy, too. My husband has used it sometimes to prop his head up at night when he's congested. Read more

@Tayler Dane, I liked that the Hiccapop had a firm side and a soft, memory foam side. But when it arrived, it seemed flimsy and thin. It doesn't give me nearly the support I was hoping for.

If you’re wanting something different just for naps or relaxing, my wife has used the Cozy Bump pillow. It’s more like an air mattress and probably isn’t for overnight sleeping, but for her (a stomach sleeper) she found it helpful to relax on occasionally. Not ideal, but it helped her a bit.

The Cozy Bump is an interesting idea and I was hoping to sleep on it, but that didn’t work for me. It’s plastic, so the effectiveness depends largely on how well it fits your body dimensions. For me, it wasn’t quite right and the plastic-y smell also got to me over time.
