I bought the Domie 22” about a year ago and it’s perfect. I travel outside the US frequently for work and this carry-on is a workhorse: super lightweight even when fully packed and really durable. The inside is well organized so I can find anything I need quickly. I also love the combination lock that eliminates the key. This is a great buy - no regrets here!

@Jamison Wallace How does it roll? My current suitcase feels really stiff.

@Anakoni Boothman It’s perfect. I can roll it easily when it’s upright or when it’s on an angle. It’s also quiet, no squeaking, etc.

I have to agree - the Domie is the best! My favorite thing about it is that it never tips over. I can stack my laptop backpack on top of the handle (it telescopes upward) and it stays put. I hadn’t heard of the brand before and was a little anxious to buy it but it’s fantastic. You’ll love it!

The Domie is great for frequent travelers. I fly a couple of times a month through busy terminals and I need to be able to navigate through heavy foot traffic. The wheels turn 360 degrees and glide quietly over hard and carpeted surfaces. The exterior hasn’t scratched and the zipper and fabric is durable. The interior compartments are well organized and I can pack for a week with no problem.

@Lynsay Jarvis Which color did you choose?

@Anakoni Boothman I got the blue because it’s easier to find in case I have to check it at the gate or leave it at a hotel or conference center lobby. But I rarely need to because of its compact size.

I had never heard of Domie before buying this luggage but took the plunge because of all the positive things I’ve heard from others. I’m so glad I did! I have back pain so it’s really important that my luggage is lightweight, even when it’s fully packed. I also can’t risk any problems like a broken wheel because I wouldn’t be able to carry it. The Domie exceeded every expectation. Buy with confidence - this is a bargain for the price - you won’t regret it!

I bought the Samsonite Omni set and it does everything well - except the zipper did break on the carry on the first time I used it. I had luggage straps so it wasn’t a problem. ... It is very spacious. It’s also lightweight when it’s not packed! Be careful - it fits so much stuff that it gets heavy quickly!Read more

@Alexandria Pearce How did you get the zipper fixed?

@Anakoni Boothman It was easy - I just sent it back to Samsonite. It was gone a few weeks and then came back good as new. Annoying, but travel is tough on luggage!

We bought this a few months ago and it’s fine for occasional travel. The set is reasonably priced and comes with a warranty. It’s spacious. Because we check and carry on, it’s easy to tell how ... durable the case is. The checked bag has a couple of scratches but that’s it. The carry-on has been gently used and is in great shape. We would buy again.Read more

I bought this as a replacement for a fancier brand and wish I hadn’t. One of the wheels fell off the first time I used it! The carry on was packed full and I had to haul it through ... airports, hotels, etc. When I got back from the trip I found out that the warranty was useless. If rolling your carry on is important to you then I’d avoid Kenneth Cole. Total waste of money.Read more

We were very disappointed in the Kenneth Cole luggage. It is NOT well made. The fabric and zipper are already almost worn out - we’ve used it less than a year! It looks ... good in my closet but that’s about it. Avoid.Read more

I’d never bought anything from Amazon Basics before and thought I’d give this a shot. It’s good enough and affordable, great for weekend trips away. It does tip over easily and is a little ... smaller than other carry-ons I’ve used in the past. But other than that it’s decent! Read more

@Elwyn Lund Can you fit enough clothes inside for a week? Or is this just for overnights?

Elwyn Lund

@Anakoni Boothman I wouldn’t be able to use this for a full week.

If you want the absolute best in design and durability, you cannot go wrong with Tumi. The Merge is worth the sky-high price. Don’t settle for a cheaper bag - yes it’s ... almost $600 but it’s fantastic. The only thing I worry about with this bag is whether or not it will get stolen at the baggage claim.Read more

I spent a lot on the Tumi expecting a lot of bang for the buck. It’s a good carry on,but I wouldn’t spend this much on luggage ever again. It’s just as good as other luggage I ... have, just has a fancier label.Read more

@Corie Short Agree. I don’t know why these are so expensive. I have the Merge and it ... fits just as much as my Samsonite does. It rolls the same. Nothing is broken. Just costs a few hundred dollars more!Read more

If you want a spacious and lightweight bag that fits under the seat in front of you on a plane, the Samsonite Solyte is great. I travel on small planes a lot and because this isn’t as big ... as a normal carry on I can bring it on board. I just wish it had more pockets because it’s tough to keep everything organized. This bag is fine for what it is and I use mine all the time with no problem, but be careful about the color! It looks so much like other travel bags that if you wind up checking it or ... leaving it in the hotel lobby, someone else can easily mistake your bag for theirs.Read more
